In the Summer of 2019, we will hold our first conference, gathering the foremost scholars on China in honor of the hundred year anniversary of the May Fourth Movement. Our conference seeks to cover two major themes: The conflict between democracy and nationalism and the evolution of modern day China across disciplines in these hundred years after May Fourth. From this conference, we will produce a series of videos and journals seeking to unravel these major themes.
